President's Letter

Dear Friends and Customers ,


With the ending of 2013, I wanted to renew my most sincere thanks for your continued support and our partnerships. Without you, none of the past 33 years would have been possible.


The past few years have seen a increase in our trading capacity to facilitate our customers need as well as to make better use of the consolidations of our facilities in a 222,000 SqFt manufacturing complex comprising 5 free standing buildings :

. A packing center which integrates high frequency pack, blister pack, POT bags with header cards, compression (for beds) and every other packing types requested. This unit also includes a final QC check point for the products themselves as well as the packing information such as selling price, UPC codes, and other labeling issues.

. A production unit for dog toys: Plush, rope, bedding, floating toys, nylons and others.

. A production unit for cat accessories: Cat toys (sisal, P.V.C., plush), tunnels, beddings, cat trees, cat furniture, and cat recreation centers.

. The 4th building serves as a polyvalent production unit as well as a consolidation platform for our other 2 plants and our outsourced products so to provide a final QC check as well as an optimization of logistics to provide you with outstanding flexibility and accuracy for your shipment consolidation.

. The last building hosts our operation and dispatch center, our product and development design center and our showroom. The showroom spreads over 20,000 SqFt and hosts of over 12,000 SKUs with an average of about 400 new SKUs a year. Truely the only Pet Supply Indsutry Showroom of its class in China.


So what can we expect for 2014? Being one of the most dynamic economic sector, the pet industry has been relatively sheltered from the economic crisis and has clearly been a focus in the FMCG mass market and the Venture Capitalist market with a good number of key player being acquired by Pension Funds VC. This has accentuated the current competition and force companies to question their positioning, their product lines, and their pricing strategies. Which will in terms tend to bring larger player closer to the manufacturers to keep a competitive advantage. 

For APBI, the objectives are simple, innovation, creativity, production excellence and flexibility to our customers’ requirements. By doing so, we will keep our stand and establish the difference that has enabled us to keep a very close partnership with a large number of our customers who are among the largest companies in the world and key players in our industry.
